- 1 bn coriander leaves
Instructions
- Peel and cut the potatos in small pieces
- Wash and chop the methi leaves in small pieces
- In a deep frying pan, add the oil and let it heat
- Put the cumin seeds in hot oil
- When cumin seeds become brown, add the potatos pieces and chopped methi leaves
- Add the turmeric powder and salt
- Add the garam masala powder and coriander powder
- Cover the frying pan and let it cook for 5-10 mins on low flame
- If you have microwave oven, in place of cooking it on gas, you can also put it in a covered microwave container at 900W for 6.5 minutes
- You can see if it is cooked properly by trying to pierce the potatos by a fork, it should not be hard at all
- When ready, you can garnish it with chopped coriander leaves.
Notes
- I use slightly less salt so one can adjust the quantity of salt to the taste, but it is prefer to keep less salt and add later
