Description
This is a really tasty side dish made of Paneer and Spinach (Palak). Slightly complicated but worth the effort.
Ingredients
- 200 g spinach (palak)
- 50 g paneer
- 1 t corn flour
- 3 tomato
- 3 onion
- 1 t salt
- 1 sli ginger
- 2 T oil
- 3 black cardamom
- 3 bay leaves
- 3 cinamon sticks
- 1⁄2 t honey
- 2 green chilli
- 25 g fresh cream
- 1 t cumin seeds
- 1 t corriander powder
Instructions
Sham Savera Balls
- Wash and clean the spinach.
- Boil the water and blanch the spinach in the water. After blanching the spinach, cool it with cold water.
- Dry the spinach by squeezing the excess water
- Chop the spinach in small pieces
- Chop the green chilli
- Mix spinach, green chilli, salt and corn flour
- Grate the paneer and mix some salt in it.
- Make 4 balls of this paneer
- Flatten the spinach and wrap it around the paneer balls
- Once you have spinch wrapped balls, fry them in oil at mild flame.
Gravy
- Take onion, tomato, black cardamom, garlic, ginger, water and make fine paste in a food processor
- Heat oil in a frying pan, add cumin seeds to it
- Add the paste to this pan
- After the paste is cooked property (turns brown), add fresh cream and honey
- Add some water and let it cook till the gravy is of right consistency
Finishing
- Add the gravy to a flat microwave dish
- Cut the spinach balls in half and add them to the gravy
- Cook them in microwave for 3 minutes
- The dish is ready and can be served with chapatis
